      Cereal growers are constantly faced with the threat of fusarium head blight and rusts \u2013 two of the most yield damaging diseases to cereal crops. Half of spring wheat and two thirds of durum sampled in 2016 contained fusarium damage* and rusts are growing in prevalence with stripe (yellow) rust able to successfully overwinter in Western Canada. These diseases can both have a devastating impact on wheat yield and quality.
